Stock tank woes? Try Organic Apple Cider

Organic Apple Cider Vinegar... beneficial in so many ways.

My grandpa used to say that cider vinegar was helpful for the "ol' nags out back," but little did I know exactly HOW helpful. It is amazing to me how many things in horse care that are old, are becoming new again. And Cider Vinegar is one of these items.

Here are a few uses and benefits of a few “glugs” of organic apple cider vinegar for your equines.

USE: Put cider vinegar in your stock tank, just a few ounces in your 100 gallon tank every time you clean and refill it all summer long.

BENEFIT: No bugs! No Larvae! No nasty worms! Nothing. In fact, there is argument that it cuts down on algae growth as well.

USE: Top dressing in feed, a mere one ounce or less.

BENEFIT:

·       Prevents & breaks down calcifications in arthritic horses ad well as acts as a blood cleanser

·       Rich in potassium, and contains many of the original minerals found in an apple: phosphorus, chlorine, sodium, magnesium, calcium, sulfur, iron, silicon, and many other trace minerals.

·       Produces a fabulously shiny summer coat!

·       Mixed in with some garlic it can repel fly and reduce parasites.

*****Be careful to make sure your horses don't stop drinking water because of the new taste. Start  and increase as they accept the new flavor.

USE: Externally applied to coat
